HOAFF is an affiliate club of the Fly Fishers International, and is home to members of Trout Unlimited, National Wildlife Federation, Wilderness Society, and other sport fishing conservation groups. Our members include individuals who have fished over many parts of the world and others who are just getting started in fly-fishing.

If you’re interested in fly-fishing and want to be with others who share your enthusiasm, Heart of America Fly Fishers is for you. Join us!

HOAFF club members are encouraged to participate by serving on standing committees or giving programs on fly-fishing or outdoor related topics.

The club regularly brings in outside experts to share their specialized knowledge and techniques.

We sponsor fly-tying and fly-fishing classes that are available for the entire family. Individuals who are just becoming interested in our sport are especially welcome at our meetings, where they will find members who can provide advice on just…

Nov 22nd Trout fishing Jesse James in Kearney. Come whenever, lunch at 1130

Nov 26th Wednesday at the Bench at Bass Pro Independence. 1600-1830

My daughter works for MDC at James A Reed. She said the plan is to stock trout there the week of November 10th.

Not nearly as impressive as what others are doing but hopefully it will catch fish.
