My daughter works for MDC at James A Reed. She said the plan is to stock trout there the week of November 10th.

Happy Sunday. Sure feels like fall this morning. 43 at my place. A reminder as you plan your week. Our monthly meeting is Tuesday Rainbow Fly Shop 6:30. We will have pizza so please rsvp or comment so we have enough.

A quick reminder of our event this coming Saturday at James A Reed. Come help us pick up trash at Plover Lake. Will start around 0900. Instead of lunch, we will have coffee and donuts to start the morning. Come early or stay late and do some fishing.
I will be late because I have to drop my son off at Johnson county community college at 9:30. So we'll probably be closer to 10:00 when I get there but I'm coming. I don't need any power rings. Lol

HOAFF 2025 Auction - October 20, 2025
Please plan to join us on Monday, October 20 for the club's annual fund raising event. The location is our usual meeting place, the Mission Road Community of Christ Church at 79th and Mission Road in Prairie Village, KS. The live auction will begin at 7:00 p.m., but doors open at 6:30 to get a bidder number, purchase bucket raffle tickets, and to preview items in this year's auction. Bring a friend and your generous spirit.
Items in this year's auction include fly rods, reels, fishing vests, tying vises, guide trips, lodging, custom-tied flies from members, flies tied by Ed Engle at this past spring's seminar (including one size 32), a holiday lights tour, and more. Bucket raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Cash, check (from members) or credit card will be accepted.
